- The Institute for Materials Discovery Bloomsbury laboratory is located on the main campus of UCL in Bloomsbury, on the first floor of the Roberts building. It is a short walk from Goodge Street, Russell Square, Warren Street and Euston Square underground stations or Euston and King's Cross railway stations. The main entrance to the Roberts building is on Malet Place. The offices for academic and research staff are located at 40 Bernard Street, opposite Russel Square tube station.
- The Institute for Materials Discovery East laboratory is located on the UCL East campus, on the seventh floor of the Marshgate building (room 711). If you are arriving via tube or train the nearest station is Stratford Tube Station or Stratford International Station which are both a 15-minute walk to Marshgate. The offices for academic and research staff are located on the fifth floor of the Marshgate building (room 517).
