Frequently Asked Questions page - we hope that this page will answer many of your questions. The UCL Registry web pages contain a lot of useful information for students - please click on the links below. At this time, much of the information will still relate to the current academic year but will be updated over the coming weeks.

If you are a national of a country outside of the EEA and Switzerland, you must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid visa under any circumstances. The Immigration & Visas web page has further details, including how to obtain your CAS number. Please note that UCL cannot issue a Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) form unless you hold an Unconditional offer, so please make sure that you meet the Condition as early as you possibly can.

Student visas: If you are in the UK on a student visa, please do not leave the country without permission from your programme director. You should also be aware that by leaving the country you take the risk of not being permitted back in because of Border controls. Please remember that the MA/MSc is a twelve month programme from September to September and you should be at UCL in the UK until the end of your student registration in September 2019.
