Scarring prevention, ocular surgery and disease

Peng Khaw is Professor of Glaucoma and Ocular Healing at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Consultant Ophthalmologic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He is also programme chair for the Eyes and Vision Programme at UCL Partners.
His research interests focus on therapies for scarring and surgical techniques. He has a long track record of developing new treatments from laboratory through to international clinical trials.
In 2013 he was knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours for his services to ophthalmology.
