Dr Marta Rizzi of the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Freiburg will be speaking at the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation Seminar Series on Thursday 16 May. The seminar will be held in Lecture Theatre 3 at the UCL Medical School Royal Free Campus.
Dr Rizzi’s group investigates human B cell development and dysregulation; How are B cell function, development and activation modulated? Current projects include: FAS and B cells in humans; Modulatory signal in B cell activation ( T-cell dependent and indepented); B cell development and function in models of autoimmune diseases; Analysis of early BM development in primary antibody deficiency patients.
