Institute of Immunity and Transplantation

The Institute of Immunity and Transplantation (IIT) aims to accelerate research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of major diseases such as cancer, HIV, and hepatitis as well as generating vital knowledge around stem cells, exploring their potential to grow new organs for transplantation.

The Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) is a multidisciplinary, independent research institute based across two sites in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It aims to become a source of fundamental discoveries into the susceptibility, transmission and cure of HIV, TB and related diseases.
