Capitalising on Intellectual Property
This seminar led by UCL Business and the UCL Technology fund will firstly provide an overview on types of Intellectual Property (IP), how to protect it and why you might want to. We will then go on to discuss what support the UCL ecosystem offers researchers and academics that are interested in commercialising IP and how to access that support, including funding for the development of proof of concept implementations for licensing or spinout opportunities. Marina Santilli (Associate Director UCLB) and David Grimm (Investment Director, UCL Technology Fund) will also be happy to share case studies from around the UCL Faculty of Engineering.
This seminar will be applicable to all researchers including PhD students, Post-Doctoral Researchers and Academics.
Attending the session
This session is for members of ICCS and the Dept. of EEE. Attendance details have been distributed by email
