A 2-day workshop with the theme: ‘Optical Networks – the next 25 years?’ (#ONG25), to commemorate 25 years of the Optical Networks Group at University College London (UCL).

Description

Sponsored and supported by the EPSRC TRANSNET Programme (www.transnet.org.uk) the workshop will comprise talks by a glittering array of global research leaders from academia and industry, including many ONG alumni, to discuss achievements, exciting developments and the future of the optical communications and networks field.

In addition, the event will include the Inaugural Lecture by Professor Robert Killey on 19th September (time TBC), entitled 'Optical communications in the 2040s: future photonic technology advances for exabit/s networks'.
