Professor Ilanah Fhima invited to participate at ISHTIP Workshop

Professor Ilanah Fhima was invited to participate in the 14th Annual Workshop of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property (ISHTIP) held at Tel Aviv University.

Ilanah Fhima, Professor of Intellectual Property Law at UCL Laws and Co-director of the Institute of Brand and Innovation Law (IBIL) was invited to speak at the 14th Annual Workshop of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property (ISHTIP), which was hosted by the S. Horowitz Institute for Intellectual Property and the David Berg Institute for Law & History, at the Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University between 20-23 June 2023.

 The theme of the conference was IP and Migration, with a programme aiming to analyse of how ideas, authors and innovations adjust to new cultural, economic and legal environments, from historical, cultural, economic and legal perspectives. Professor Fhima was invited to comment on a new paper presented by Professor Oren Bracha, University of Texas, entitled ‘Brand Property from Below’.
