Professor Sir Robin Jacob addresses IP Professionals in Hong Kong

On 16th February, Professor Sir Robin Jacob was invited to speak to address an audience of over 100 of Hong Kong’s IP community in a speech, entitled ‘IP Rights – Where the World is Now’
This week, Professor Sir Robin Jacob spoke to an audience of over 100 of Hong Kong’s IP community at an event organised by Winnie Tam SC, JP of Des Voeux Chambers. In his speech, entitled ‘IP Rights – Where the World is Now,’ Professor Jacob shared his insights on global patent rights, copyright and trade marks, and his thoughts on how the law should develop.
In the previous week, Professor Jacob was the guest of Andrew Ng, Hon. Fellow of UCL, at a dinner in the Hong Kong Club hosted by Dr Victor Chu Chairman of UCL Governing Council & UCL Hong Kong Club held in honour of the visit of UCL President and Provost, Dr Michael Spence.
