Visiting Professor Mark Anderson on Rethinking IP Law
9 January 2019
Mark Anderson, a visiting professor with IBIL and the convenor of an annual, 5-day UCL course on IP Transactions, has written an article for the Law Society Gazette titled “Time to Rethink IP Law”. In it, he argues for an English code for IP transactions, analogous to the one for sale of goods that is to be found in the Sale of Goods Act 1979. He has also argued for an international convention governing IP transactions, most recently in a chapter in Technology Transactions, edited by Professor de Werra of the University of Geneva, and available here.
