Events and festivals are a popular way of opening up research to the public through creating interactive and engaging methods of breaking down research concepts and starting new discussions.

Over a one-day session, Dan Plane (Science Museum, Royal Institution), will explore how to turn your own research into interactive activities, including identifying audiences and tailoring content; developing activities based on your own research; and facilitating two-way conversations with a range of visitors.

There will be opportunities to learn from an experienced practitioner as well as through group activities building on your own research and experience, with the chance to develop your own ideas later in the day and leave prepared to go out and develop your own!

Refreshments will be provided and a full agenda will be posted in early 2019.
