Academic Services is responsible for maintaining a record of professorial appointments in accordance with University of London Regulation 3, and for reporting new appointments, and the membership of professorial appointment panels, to Academic Board.
The Human Resources Division co-ordinates UCL’s annual senior academic staff promotions process. The HR Division is also responsible for administering and advising on the appointment of Emeritus, Honorary and Visiting Professors.
