Climate Change: Mark Maslin interviews Al Gore
21 August 2017
Mark Maslin (GGI Academic Advisory Board) spoke with Al Gore about his new documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth'.
In 2006, Al Gore's documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth' sparked a global conversation on the climate crisis. More than a decade later, the sequel 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power' looks back at the developments that have occurred since then, including the accelerated retreat of the ice caps, the increased frequency and magnitude of extreme weather events, and the signing of the 2015 Paris Agreement. Mark Maslin, Professor of Climatology at UCL and member of the GGI Academic Advisory Board, spoke with Al Gore about his new film, already existing solutions to climate change and the need to fix democracy in order to fix the climate crisis.
