Job opportunity for Global Business School for Health students - apply to be a GBSH Social Media Ambassador!
The GBSH is looking for a team of Student Social Media Ambassadors (SMA’s) to help create innovative student-led content for our social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube) and our blog.
In this paid role you’ll produce Instagram stories, take photos, make videos, and write copy for social media posts. You’ll also write blogs about your experience as a GBSH student. You’ll have the opportunity to be creative, bring your own ideas to the table and share content that you’re passionate about. You will meet regularly with other Social Media Ambassadors to work collaboratively and share ideas. You will report to the GBSH Marketing and Events Coordinator.
We’re looking for applicants who are confident using social media, speaking on camera, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be organised, reliable and have excellent time management skills. We are looking for applicants who are motivated and excited to execute fun, fresh and creative content for our website and social media platforms.
We expect applicants to share their content across their own social media platforms and be comfortable with photos and videos of themselves being posted on social media.
Successful candidates will be expected to also act as a general GBSH student ambassador. You will be expected to attend some open days to answer live questions from enquiring students, as well as to respond to enquiries on Unibuddy.
You will work closely with the GBSH Marketing and Events team who will provide guidance and training, as well as support you during your time in the role.
Whilst there are some requirements about when you work, this role is flexible and is designed to fit in around your studies. We expect most SMA’s to commit a maximum of 3 hours per week to this role, however, this may be flexible. The rate of pay is £11.95 per hour plus holiday pay. There may be circumstances where we'll ask if you can work overtime or outside of normal working hours. SMA’s will be paid for any overtime work they accrue.
