About the Speaker:
Sotiris Vandoros is Professor of Health Economics at UCL Global Business School for Health, University College London, and Director of the Executive MBA Health programme. He is also Adjunct Faculty at Harvard University. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics.
Before joining UCL, he was Associate Dean for Doctoral Studies and Associate Professor at King's Business School, King's College London.
His research focuses on the impact of economic conditions, shocks and uncertainty on health and health-related behaviours, and on regulation, pricing and competition in pharmaceutical markets.
Sotiris has carried out research for national and international organisations and governments such as the WHO, the NHS, the European Commission and the European Parliament. He has taught at UCL, Harvard, LSE, King’s College London, Brunel, Sorbonne-Cité and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
