Programme Structure

Students choose between one major language, two major languages and a major and a minor language, plus a specialism from the humanities or social sciences.

There is a maximum of two languages throughout the degree. Two ab initio languages are not normally allowed.

When choosing a specialism and its combination with your chosen language(s), you should keep two rules in mind:

You cannot take more than 150 credits at Level 4 across the four years of the programme.

You must take at least 90 credits at Level 6 by the end of the programme.
