EI enters strategic partnership with EISPS
25 September 2023
The European Institute is joining forces with UCL European and International Social and Political Studies to deliver teaching, student engagement, a series of joint public and student-facing events, as well as policy engagement.

Specifically, we are developing two new modules for EISPS students, on EU politics, policy and society, including a class examining these topics from the perspective of practitioners involved in making and shaping decisions and thought about what the EU does and what happens in Europe.
We will continue to deliver our student masterclasses which bring students together with professionals in politics, policy, advocacy and journalism. We are kicking off this year's series with Daniel Bradley, Head of Climate & Environment, UK Mission to the EU, who will talk to our students about Where the EU is on Climate, and what does this mean for its partners? (15 November, watch this space for details). Read about last year's series here.
We offer students opportunities to engage with our work and find a platform for their thoughts, be it as student speakers at one of our events, by contributing to the Student Voices of our UCL Europe Blog, or by applying to be an EI Student Ambassador (call for applications to follow soon).
We are curating a series of exciting events for students as well as the general public, starting with our Annual UCL Europe Lecture, This is Europe: An Evening with Ben Judah, on 3 October (sign up now!), and our In Conversation with Alastair Campbell on 5 October.
Finally, we are working with colleagues from EISPS as well as UCL at large on a range of policy engagement activities, including the ongoing Commission on Policy Engagement by Area Experts.
