Commission for UCL Slade and Bartlett students

Are you a current UCL student at the Slade or Bartlett? If so, UCL Music Futures is offering you the chance to win a commission to design a modern re-imagining of a musical bandstand for Bloomsbury’s garden squares, to be used for the project’s summer music festival.

The winner will work with artist and musician Mataio Austin Dean and musicians Bentham’s Body Ensemble to use our London History Collection as inspiration.

Briefing meetings will be held Friday 11 February 1pm and 5.30pm. They are free, online and open to current UCL Slade & Bartlett students. 

Music Futures is a one-year cycle of activities dedicated to thinking, writing and performing music. It is hosted jointly by the European Institute and the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies, and features academics across UCL Faculties.
