The admissions period for the September 2020/21 entry to the MPhil/PhD programme is open from 12 September 2019, and will close on Thursday 21 November 2019 at 4pm (GMT).

We encourage applications from prospective students with an excellent academic record and a commitment to producing original, inspiring research. We also welcome applications from outstanding candidates from the UK, EU and internationally - especially from candidates who are female and/or from ethnic minority backgrounds.

The Faculty offers a number of scholarships to ensure the best candidates are able to study with us in London.

UCL Laws was ranked the top Law department in the UK for research environment in the most recent Research Excellence Framework, REF 2014. Bentham House, the historic home of UCL Laws, is based in the heart of legal London - giving our students a unique opportunity to draw on the resources of the centre of the UK’s government, legal and financial communities.
