Estates Leadership Team are responsible for UCL Estates Development, and Campus Experience & Infrastructure (CE&I). You can see each member of the management team on this page, with links to the organisational charts showing teams.

Ian Dancy

Executive Director of Operations

Ian leads the Estates division, which includes Safety Services, Development, and Campus Experience & Infrastructure. Together these teams ensure the smooth day-to-day running of UCL. UCL’s estate comprises over 250 buildings across London and the south-east, including our recently opened UCL East campus in Stratford.

Estates work supports research, teaching, and student life at UCL. The leadership team work at a strategic level, planning for the future of UCL’s buildings and services, and manage the teams that deliver day-to-day essential services.

Whether being greeted as you walk into the front quad at Gower Street, enjoying fresh food and drinks at our cafes, or working with UCL as a service provider you are likely to speak to someone who works for Estates.
