Estates Leadership Team encompasses the UCL Development division and the Campus Infrastructure & Experience (CE&I) division which were formerly called 'UCL Estates'. Kevin Argent

Kevin Argent

Kevin has responsibility for development and delivery of the Estates Strategy, the Capital Programme along with Property and Space at UCL. Kevin also leads on UCL’s Major Projects Portfolio that includes UCL East on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the Institute of Neurology and Dementia Research Institute on Grays Inn Road

Kevin’s team collaborates at all levels within UCL and is responsible for all property management including landlord and tenant, lease management, rent, rates and service charges. Programme and Project management for construction projects, commercial procurement and consultant framework management, design standards, master planning, design development including developing and securing funding for our future capital plan together with the programme and project management of prioritised lifecycle and change projects.

Ian Dancy

Executive Director of Operations

Ian leads Campus Operations including, the overall Campus Experience, Infrastructure, Timetable teams, providing services that ensure the smooth day-to-day running of UCL. UCL’s estate comprises over 250 buildings across London and the south-east, including our UCL East campus in Stratford.

Ian’s team works across the entire University delivering services, from building maintenance to cleaning, the UCL Nursery, Student Accommodation, Sustainability, and Security. Ian is also currently the interim lead for Workplace Health and Safety Services.

Whether walking through the front quad at Gower Street or enjoying fresh food and drinks at our cafes, you are likely to speak to someone who works in UCL’s Campus Experience & Infrastructure team.
