The Wonders | Festival of Engineering
Join us in the Bloomsbury Theatre for an evening of inspiration and innovation at 'The Wonders' - a live show with a rare mix of entertainment and engineering science!

Join us for this special celebration of the world-changing magic of engineering, where you’ll see:

- How our engineers are helping to transform healthcare
- What’s a “fire tornado”, how you make one and why it matters
- Cutting-edge insights into the future of autonomous vehicles
- How we’re using X-Rays to map the human body in unprecedented detail
- What it’s really like to go to space
The show will be hosted by two of the UK’s finest science communicators, UCL academics Dr Helen Czerski and Professor Mark Miodownik (pictured). Along with our stellar UCL Engineering researchers, we’ll be joined by special guests:
- Dr Kevin Fong (UCL) with astronaut Dan Tani
- Comedy duo Ben Moor and Joanna Neary
- Tech + Comedy duo FoxDog.
So, treat your ‘inner-nerd’ to an entertaining, intellectually stimulating night out and join us to behold… The Wonders.
