This event aims at giving you the opportunity to explore the potential of the entrepreneurship world in the form of a competition.
We will provide you with a one-hour intense training session at the beginning of the day. The session will cover the fundamental concepts in the Business Model Canvas, including how to:
a) create and develop the business idea and its value proposition,
b) identify and explain customers, channels, and revenue streams, and
c) plan and organise costs, resources, and partners.
Following on from that, you will be put into teams to take on three phases of fast-paced teamwork exercises, i.e. creating an idea, designing the Business Model Canvas, and preparing a pitch. But worry not, you'll get all the guidance and support you need, as mentors will be there during the day to guide you and answer your questions.
At the end of the day, your team will take part in a pitching competition for an opportunity to win vouchers that are awarded to the first two places. In addition, we will hold a drinks reception to celebrate in the evening. This is an opportunity to gain a new competition-based experience, learn, network, and enjoy yourself.
This event is a collaboration between the CEGE department and UCL Engineering, Zahra Mahabadi, Njoud Al Nurr, Chi Zhang, and Andrea Franchini.
From the UCL Innovation and Enterprise, Andreas Feller-Ryf and Mario Moustras are collaborating in providing teaching and mentoring.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
