Economic Tribune wins at the 2022 Student Publication Awards

UCL Economics’ official student publication, the Economic Tribune has won the Special Mention - Best Specialist Publication Award at the Student Publication Association (SPA) National Conference Awards 2022.

The Economic Tribune has won the Special Mention - Best Specialist Publication Award which judges journals, publications, and magazines with a specific area of interest. The judges assess the level of quality and innovation in publications.   

UCL Economics student and Economic Tribune correspondent, Ananya Ashta also won the Outstanding Commitment Award at regional level. The Outstanding Commitment Award rewards students who have shown outstanding commitment to their publications over the previous year, going above and beyond the call of duty. 

The SPA organises some of the most prestigious awards for student journalists in the UK and Ireland cover 20 categories from sports to news to the coveted Best Publication award.  

The Economic Tribune has been running as UCL's official Economics student publication since 2012 and aims to provide a forum for students to discuss ideas as well as providing the wider UCL community with a window into cutting edge economic research.
