UCL Economics will host its seventh annual undergraduate research conference Explore Econ, on Thursday 10 June 2021.
The conference showcases independent work undertaken by students from all years of the undergraduate programme, much of it outside of the curriculum and will be presented in posters and presentations and in addition, the conference will also showcase the winning contributions of our First Year Challenge, a multimedia film project.

UCL Economics will host its sixth annual undergraduate research conference Explore Econ, on Wednesday 26 February 2020. This high profile event will be opened by Professor Anthony Smith (Vice Provost, Education & Student Affairs). Professor Sasha Roseneil (UCL) will present the awards ceremony. The popular #whateconomistsreallydo session is back this year, starting at 5.30pm with a theme of "Using (and Abusing) Data in Economics" and features staff and student speakers.

UCL Economics hosts its second annual undergraduate research conference, Explore Econ, on March 16, 2016. This conference showcases independent work done by students in all three years of the undergraduate programme, much of it outside of the curriculum. First year students will be represented through the First Year Challenge, a multimedia project, and a small group of first year students will be making a film about economics under the auspices of Explore Econ. Among other highlights for this year are work shadow prizes sponsored by the Bank of England, DeutscheBank and the Competition and Markets Authority, and the presence of Sharon White as keynote speaker.
