The Women in Earth Sciences Group Autumn Term Update

We aim to support the progression of women and gender minorities in Earth science, highlight their achievements and create opportunities to network and engage in cutting edge research.
Our WiES group continues to grow and thrive. Now with nearly 40 members, we run a series of events for anyone interested in, or supportive of, WiES.
This term we began with a Welcome event in the Rock Room at the beginning of term and are now also hosting monthly coffee mornings in the first floor Hub Space. Finally we are co-hosting the Greenough Dinner this year on December 11th where we hope to encourage more people to join. Our events are open to all who are, or are supportive of, WiES, including WiES Alumni - always great to see them and always welcome.
