This research is conducted in collaboration with Jaime Undurraga, MacQuarie University Australia.
It focusses on the use of electrophysiology to objectively measure the brain’s response to sound in individuals with a cochlear implant and how this changes over time with implant experience. Such measurements could be used to guide rehabilitation after cochlear implant surgery and thereby improve hearing.
