Press Release: The SNP response on keeping the pound

Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland's deputy first minister will be in London today to give a lecture on 'Scotland's Future: the case for an independent Scotland' before students and guests of UCL's School of Public Policy.
It will take place in the Cruciform Lecture Theatre, Cruciform Building, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT at 5pm today (Thursday 13 February).
Ms Sturgeon will take questions later. She may be expected to reply to the refusal of the three main UK parties led by the Chancellor George Osborne this morning, to allow an independent Scotland to join a sterling currency Union with the rest of the UK.
