Kashfia joined the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit as a Medical Statistician in October 2015. She is currently working on a number of trials covering a wide range of disease areas including ophthalmology (Keralink), autoimmune diseases (Beat-LUPUS) and Alzheimer's disease (DESPIAD).
After completing her MSc in Medical Statistics at LSHTM in 2011, Kashfia joined the Barts Cancer Institute as a Statistician, working on oncology trials. During her 4 years at the trial unit she gained extensive experience in trial design and analysis methodologies. She has a particular interest in modelling time to event data. Prior to starting a career in clinical trials, Kashfia worked as a Statistician in the Civil Service.
