Sustainable diets: a veganism and zero-waste food retail talk with chef Ludmila Girardi

In this exclusive talk, chef Ludmila Girardi (who has worked in vegetarian restaurants such as Vanilla Black, London) will talk about veganism, sustainable eating and running a sustainable restaurant. Chef Girardi’s event will not only involve discussion about her research and career, plus audience questions, it will also include (pre-cooked) food samples!

With a Master’s degree in sustainable food systems from Cardiff University, Chef Ludmila Girardi will join the CEGE Sustainability Committee at the end of Veganuary to discuss the current interest in veganism, how diets can be sustainable, and how to achieve zero waste in the food retail industry. 

CEGE PhD student Berill Takacs will chair the event, which will not only involve Chef Girardi talking about her research and career, plus answering audience questions, it will also include (pre-cooked) food samples!
