Our academic experts provide consultancy services to both industry and government, applying their knowledge to tackle engineering challenges on a global scale.
UCL Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) is involved in a wide range of consultancy projects. We work with organisations in the public or the private sector, in the UK and overseas, with government organisations, multinationals, or small companies. Projects can be long-term collaborations, or focused on specific deliverables over a short time frame.
Consultancy with the department can involve many forms, including subject matter expertise, expert witness work, strategic advice, policy briefings, feasibility and scoping studies. We can also provide professional development from short 1 hour sessions to full-day delivery.
We work in close collaboration with UCL Consultants Ltd, which provides legal and contractual support and handles the financial aspects of consultancy.
