CHIMERA ECR Conference

The event was an opportunity for our early-career researchers to meet each other, share their work and develop their PPI and fellowship writing skills through dedicated workshops. 

Given the situation over the last couple of years, it was for many of our ECRs their first opportunity to present their work and meet their collaborators in person since joining us. 

Senior academics and clinicians from the hubs gave talks around the topic of failure in academia, sharing their personal experiences of failing and how they learnt from this process.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces and we look forward to similar events in the future.
