Open Research Fellow position
Research Fellow in Machine Learning for Biophysical Modelling
The Research Fellow will undertake research in machine learning approaches to biophysical modelling, including learned differential equation methods, time-series models and recurrent neural networks. The project will involve detailed mathematical and computation development and the successful applicant will work closely with the clinical teams to ensure that translation to real applications will be realised.
The funding duration for this post is for 18 months in the first instance. Salary: £35,965 - £43,470 per annum.
Key Requirements
Applicants must hold, or be about to receive, a PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a closely related field in engineering sciences. Good programming skills in a high-level language e.g. C, C++, Python and interest in biophysical models and time-series methods.
