Researchers at CHIMERA (Collaborative Healthcare Innovation through Mathematics, EngineeRing and AI) are building new mathematical models of how people’s physiology changes during ill health and recovery using anonymised data from c. 40,000 patients at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). This new understanding will in turn provide new ideas for how critically ill patients can best be cared for.
We hope the event will be a fascinating look at what CHIMERA is trying to do, with fireside chats with workstream leads and virtual posters from our early career researchers.
