Niall is working on novel dental bone grafting materials developed within the Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering along with Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow Dr Silo Meoto.

Niall Joined the centre in 2014 after conducting his PhD studies at Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he developed a novel injectable in-vivo setting bone substitute material using bioactive glass.

Project: Bio-inspired membranes for water desalination, purification and bio-separations

Research interest

• The development of novel membranes for advanced filtrations,
• Development of bioactive materials for bone substitution.
