Uncertainty-aware planning and scheduling in the process industries

This project is focused mainly on the development of mathematical models for solving planning and scheduling problems in chemical and energy processes. Dr Silvente's current research activities and interests involve the following main areas:
o Modelling and optimisation of supply chains
o Production scheduling and planning
o Energy supply chains
o Microgrids management
o Mixed-integer optimisation
o Supply chain optimisation
o Uncertainty
