On Thursday 16th March, the culmination of this year’s Electrochemical Engineering and Power Systems course saw more than 70 students gather for a conference where they presented the finding of their group research projects.

19 groups presented work relating to research methods in electrochemical engineering, which ranged from neutron imaging to battery calorimetry. The students were graded on the technical content of their posters as well as their presentation, structure and ability to handle questions from an expert panel.

The expert panel awarded a poster prize  the team who best presented their work. The winning team was group 11 - Drasti Patel, David Renwick and J. Callum Stewart for their poster on "Atomic Force Microscopy as a Method to Visualise Water Distribution across Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells” who each win an Amazon voucher.
