Hopefully, you’ll end the evening with less of an existential crisis than after watching a Nolan movie.

    3. Create your own headlines

We are running a journalism workshop on Thursday 25 November with industry professionals from Journalism school News Associates where you will get experience of writing an article in a mock, 'real-life' breaking news exercise.

This fun and informative interactive session are always popular so book early!

Also, make sure you make time for our panel event routes into journalism on Monday 22 November to hear from freelance and in house journalists talk about their experiences and what working in the sector is really like.

    4. Turn your knack for Insta and TikTok into a career

Intrigued about how ideas and products are marketed to large audiences?

    5. Understand how COVID-19 is affecting the industry

We all know the effects of the pandemic have been wide-reaching and will last for some time to come. But not all roles and organisations will be affected equally. Throughout all the events we’ll hear about how the last 18 months has changed the work of our panelists plus lookout for a discussion on the wider changes in the media sector on Wednesday 24 November hosted by the Students' Union.
