Stuart Peters

Position:PhD researcher
Overview:

 

 

Stuart graduated in Biochemistry and went on to complete an MSc in Medical Statistics. He then worked for several years as a Medical Statistician and Statistical Programmer for the University of Surrey's Psychopharmacological Research Unit and Sleep Research Centre, specialising in linear mixed modelling. Combining his interest in biological anthropology, genetics, and wildlife conservation, Stuart is now studying for a PhD in the inference of evolutionary change from the analysis of ancient and modern DNA. Along with Professor Mark Thomas, his project is supervised by Professor Ian Barnes of the Natural History Museum.
