Mirna Kovacevic

Overview:

 

Mirna obtained an MSci degree in Mathematics and Physics at UCL, during which her interest in the applications of mathematics led her to CoMPLEX (Centre for Mathematics and Physics in Life Sciences and Experimental Biology). As part of the CoMPLEX MRes/PhD programme, Mirna obtained an MRes degree in Modelling Biological Complexity, and is currently doing a PhD on modelling cultural evolution.

Modelling the spread of Aurignacian material culture in order to examine a range of hypotheses concerning group interaction dynamics and estimate key demographic and cultural evolutionary parameters at the outset of modern human behaviour in Europe.
