I am currently in the first year of my PhD, which I am doing as part of the MRes/PhD course at the Centre for Mathematics and Physics in Life Sciences and EXperimental Biology (
CoMPLEX) at
University College, London. The centre provides opportunities for collaborative
interdisciplinary research, bringing together mathematicians, physical and life scientists from a range of different fields.
Prior to starting my PhD, I completed the MRes year of the course I am currently on and an MSci degree in Mathematics and Physics at UCL. From the start of my studies I was interested in the applications of Mathematics, which eventually led me to CoMPLEX.
