Naveraj Gill

Dr Naveraj Gill is the Strategic Alliance Director for the Biochemical Engineering Department at UCL. Her role is to support the department in forging new links with industry and to foster existing relationships,

creating a platform for knowledge transfer and collaboration. She is responsible for the creation and management of all major industrial strategic partnerships including the UCL-Pall Biotech Centre of Excellence and UCL-AstraZeneca Centre of Excellence in Research and Training. She is also Programme Director for the Department's industrial training programmes: MBI Programme which has trained over 1500 individuals from 300 international companies and the VISION Leadership Programme. She is a member of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences Enterprise Impact Team and contributes to the Faculty’s wider industrial strategy.

Prior to joining the Department, Naveraj was leading business development at GE Healthcare for upstream technologies for UK and Ireland. She received the GE Healthcare Life Sciences Excellence award for exceptional performance and initiative for creating and driving new projects to promote GE technologies. Prior to her position at GE Healthcare, she held a lead postdoctoral role in collaboration with the Public Health England (PHE) and Syntaxin (now Ipsen).
