With degrees in psychology and ergonomics and as a qualified solicitor and clinician Jacqueline has interests in healthcare law and ethics rooted in healthcare practice. Her interests include patients and citizens experiences of communication, information-sharing and choice-making in healthcare as well as more specific interests in how and why individuals, patients and professionals, experience the consent process in different contexts. She is currently working on consent and clinical decision-making in ante-natal contexts.
Jacqueline has been at UCL since 2004 having previously held academic and professional posts at several Colleges of the University of London, in the City and in the NHS. Her varied professional and academic background has made her a passionate advocate for both interdisciplinarity and inter-professionality across health and social care and more generally.
