We work with students by delivering events, workshops and summers schools, with the aim of expanding knowledge about the built environment. We also provide information, advice and guidance, to help students hoping to pursue this field of study.
To widen access to The Bartlett for underrepresented groups, we prioritise working with students that meet two or more of our criteria:
- Attend a non-selective, low performing state school
- Have parents or carers who did not attend university
- Are eligible for free school meals
- Postcode data showing live in neighbourhoods with high levels of deprivation and low progression rates to higher education
- Are from groups currently underrepresented at UCL eg forced migrants, young carers, students estranged from parents, care-experienced students and disabled students
- Are from ethnic groups currently underrepresented at UCL
