At The Bartlett, we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the built environment. Our work on Outreach is dedicated to breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, and empowering individuals from all backgrounds to pursue their passion for the built environment.
If you would like to bring your students to visit The Bartlett, we are very happy to arrange this for groups of up to 30 students. We will work collaboratively to plan your visit and cater to your group of students.
As an indicator, your visit could include the following activities:
- Introduction to The Bartlett
- Introduction to degree programmes available
- Taster lectures
- Tailored Workshops
- Tour of UCL campus
- Talks from academics and current students
- Q&A sessions
- Tour of The Bartlett
If there is a specific topic you would like included in your visit, please let us know and we will try our best to cater for this.
Eligibility
Please note, selection for school visits to The Bartlett are dependent on availability and the priority level of your school. The priority level is determined by data obtained from the Higher Education Access Tracker service which consists of combined Department for Education datasets.
This allows us to prioritise schools based on their relevant disadvantage and attainment indicators including Free School Meals, Index of Multiple Deprivation, and POLAR 4.
How to book
To arrange a visit to The Bartlett, you must complete our booking form. Please note we require a minimum of four weeks' notice for all visits to The Bartlett.
Upon completion of the booking form, we will assess your request and priority level, and aim to get back to you within seven working days. If you are not eligible for one of our visits, we will signpost you to other departments and resources within UCL.
