Luis Esteban Paiva Jara is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Esteban is an industrial engineer with more than 15 years of experience in fields related to innovation management and technology implementation in the public sector. During the last 6 years he has led the Modernization area in the Chilean Judiciary, with the strategic support of the Supreme Court of Chile. Within this framework, he has collaborated with a multidisciplinary team composed of engineers, lawyers and psychologists, through a methodological approach based on the analysis of the legal framework, the design of innovative solutions and the creation of prototypes based on new technologies.
