Leopold Slany

Leopold Slany is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Leopold Slany
Leopold’s inquisitive mind is currently concerned with the linkages between Intellectual Property Law, Biotechnology Research and Healthcare Access. He has previously presented his findings on ‘Innovation Bottlenecks in Biotechnology’ at Imperial College London and wishes to continue his project to redesign the international patent system to better serve people’s interests. He speaks 8 languages and loves to have friendly discussions on various topics, including Russian literature, music, philosophy, technology, and what it means to be alive. If not at the student centre, you will find at Bloomsbury Fitness most days of the week – possibly even reading an article or textbook during breaks.
