Discover the student experience at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) through our virtual open day.

This event will take a virtual Zoom webinar format and will begin with a brief introduction to the Institute and how we are changing how the state is imagined, practised and evaluated to tackle societal challenges. Through our Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value our students develop the dynamic skills required for purpose-driven organisations and apply these to their future careers after graduating from the IIPP. In this event, we will dive into the stories of our current students and alumni from around the world, and will give you the opportunity to ask our alumni questions about the educational content of the MPA, the international mix of students, and the career prospects following graduation.

Meet the alumni and student speakers

Anjum Dhamija

Anjum Dhamija is an IIPP MPA alumna from the class of 2022-23, with a keen interest in studying and designing future-ready public sector organisations. She brought to MPA her experience of working with governments in the Middle-East and Asia, most significantly with the Government of India. She is currently working in the Strategy, Design and Insight team at London Borough of Camden.

2023-24 IIPP MPA student Wallis Greenslade

Wallis Greenslade is a 2023-24 student of the IIPPA MPA and is a passionate advocate for systems change for people and planet. Working in climate policy for the New Zealand Government, she developed a curiosity about complex systems and the ways that we can intervene for positive impact. Wallis is passionate about bringing intergenerational fairness to the fore in decision making, and has a particular focus on directing both public and private finance towards a just transition. She came to the IIPP to explore tools for impact within these realms. She holds a passion for changing the way we speak about the public service and its role within the complex challenges we face in the 21st century.
