Join us at UCL IIPP (11 Montague Street, lower-ground-floor seminar room) on Friday 20th January 2023 at 13:00 – 14:00 (GMT) for a sit-down chat with Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Greek Minister for Digital Governance. Minister Pierrakakis has overseen the creation of the new digital ministry and the successful transformation of numerous Greek services. This work has had a massive impact in service delivery, with the country now doing a billion online transactions a year, up from 8.8 million in 2018. In this talk and Q&A, we’ll learn about the Greek Digital Government strategy and the role of leadership in increasing state capacity.

The talk is being organised as an enrichment event within IIPP’s MPA’s module, Digital Transformation, led by David Eaves, but we are opening attendance to students from across UCL’s MPA courses, and we hope that some of you can attend. Students who would like to be notified of other events in the future can sign up by emailing IIPPComms@ucl.ac.uk.
