Esteban Alvarez Diaz is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Esteban holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and History from LSE and has been based in Mexico City since 2016, working as a consultant for the Mexican Foreign Ministry and the Interamerican Development Bank. Until recently, he also led Mi Valedor, a social enterprise that provides income and support groups to homeless individuals. He is deeply passionate about improving government through evidence-based policies in education and social protection and hopes to use new technologies to ensure and improve access to quality public services.
