The Industrial Land Commission is chaired by Liz Peace CBE, Chairman of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, and is made up of senior experts including local authorities, landowners and occupiers. Jessica Ferm, Associate Professor and Dr Stefania Fiorentino, Honorary Lecturer, join the commission.

The Commission will look at the role that industrial land plays in London’s economy and review the supply of, and demand for, industrial land in the capital. The Commission will also make policy recommendations to strengthen and reform industrial land planning policy and set out ways that local, regional and national government can support the optimal use of industrial land to economic, social and environmental benefit.

The work of the commissioners will be supported by a secretariat at Centre for London.
